Wilderness Safety Symposium
“Exploring Challenge & Risks”
The Wilderness Safety Symposium aims to connect practitioners and organisations with a wealth of theoretical and practical information, resources, and networking opportunities Organised by Outward Bound Singapore for Outdoor Practitioners, Outdoor Educators, Experiential Learning Providers, Teachers, and Adventure Programmes Risk Managers, the symposium will be a platform for open discussions on pertinent issues surrounding the wilderness safety.
The first of its kind in the region, the 2-day event includes subject matters that are crucial for the effective outdoor education programmes. Topics include:
Date : 5th and 6th June 2009 (non-residential)
Venue: Outward Bound Singapore, Pulau Ubin (How to get there?)
Fees : $75 per participant (PAssion Card members are entitled to 10%* discount. Group registration of more than 3 participants are entitled to 20%* discount)
Time : Day 1 - 9am to 5.30pm and Day 2 – 9am to 1.30pm
Min. Age requirement : 18 years old
Seats are limited to 100 participants only.
