YEP and Your Company

 
The YEP experience is an excellent teambuilding and leadership platform, exposing participants to service-learning and socio-political appreciation, as well as honing skills in facilitation and emergency preparedness.
 
With its issue-based approach, YEP is also a positive development programme that can fulfil CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) objectives as we facilitate corporate groups’ matching of interests with related social issues.
 
YEP-Corporate teams have up to 6 months to complete their pre, overseas and post projects, while building relationships and establishing their corporate presence in these communities.
 
Corporate groups may choose to participate in YEP progressively through the following ways:
 
A.                    Sponsorship and consultation for existing projects.
B.                     Join outgoing undergraduate or working youth teams.
C.                     Form own YEP-Corporate Team.
 
The YEP–Corporate Package
 
For companies forming their own teams, the YEP-Corporate Package is customised so that corporate teams can maximise their YEP learning experience as part of their staff development.
 
Shortened Duration
From the usual minimum of 14 days, the YEP-Corporate Team may opt for a 9-day trip. Taking limited leave into consideration, staff participants will only need to take 5 days of leave.
 
Choice of Project Nature
The YEP-Corporate Team is free to select an issue of interest that is in line with the company’s objectives and expertise. Staff participants then get to provide services related to their work, and gain a community perspective of it as well.
 
YEP Training
All staff participants will get to attend a one-day training on coping with cultural and environmental changes, effective community outreach, working with hosts, basic emergency preparedness and other foundational expedition knowledges.
