The YEP experience now extends beyond the usual one-off expeditions overseas. The experience includes an engagement on an issue in the local context before exploring it further overseas through the expedition and re-engaging the situation back at home after being exposed to different ways of approaching the issue. The teams have up to one year to complete their journey of discovery.

Please submit your online application together with the required documents to NYC AT LEAST 3 MONTHS* prior to the start of the project. *Late submission: Approved project may not receive the first disbursement amount before the commencement of your expedition.
